A facility is seeking a cardiothoracic surgeon for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in northern Indiana.

This hospital-based coverage runs from Dec 22 to Jan 5, with potential for ongoing sporadic coverage, providing adult and geriatric cardiac and thoracic surgical services while the primary provider is on PTO. The facility is Level II trauma with 16 ORs, EPIC documentation, and ancillary support (CT-NP, CT-PA, CT rounding nurse), performing approximately 56 procedures per week including CABG, valve repairs/replacements, thoracotomies, lung resections, and mediastinal surgeries, with flight, hotel, and rental car costs reimbursed and credentialing expected to take 30 days.
