Anesthesiologist - Competitive Salary

Grand Rapids, MI

We are looking for an Anesthesiologist to start as soon as possible.

• Level 2 trauma center
  
• 20 operating rooms
  
• Average of 50 cases per day
  
• All services on one campus
  
• Heavy regional anesthesia and peripheral nerve block
  
• Complex vascular, neurosurgery, and thoracic cases
  
• Acute pain only. We perform all peripheral nerve blocks, catheters, spinal and epidural
  
• No Open Hearts (maybe in the future)
  
• Professional, confident, and friendly group
  

• 10-15 cases per day (combination of supervising and doing on own)
  
• Medical supervision over CRNAs and opportunity to perform your own cases
  
• Fair amount of vascular cases, mostly endovascular (with an occasional open procedure), and perform anesthesia care for a handful of weekly thoracic cases

• Board Certified within 5 years of completion of residency - Required
  
• Active MI State license - Required
  
• DEA license - Required
  
• ACLS & ACLS - Required
  
• Must be comfortable performing 90% medical supervision - Required
  
• Clean malpractice or minimal malpractice - Required
  
• Pain experience and willing to champion a pain service - Plus
