West Georgia Urgent Care Physician Opening

  • Seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Physican in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Full-Time Position (averaging 39-42 hours/week pending schedule rotation)
  • Every other weekend schedule required (Saturday & Sunday)
  • Clinic Schedule is as follows:
    • Monday-Friday 8am-8pm (or until last patient)
    • Saturday/Sunday 8am-5pm (or until last patient
    • *last patient is done generally no later than 30 minutes past close time when required
  • Weekdays will be 12 hours shifts & Weekends 9 hours shifts
  • Schedule provided 1 month in advance
  • Patient census is generally 4-6/hours
  • Provider will be generally scheduled at 1 consistent location but may be required to fill in as needed at 2 other locations which are within 15 minutes of each other
  • Excellent clinical, administrative and management support
  • UC will generally have 2-3 providers per shift (combination of MD/DO & APP's)
  • Daily APP supervision when they are on schedule with physician
  • EMR: EPIC
