Locums Urbana, Illinois, Interventional Radiologist Opening

Clinical Role:

- ASAP Ongoing Need
- Shift: Monday-Friday; 7:30A 5P
- Call: 1 week out of every 6 weeks
- Locum must be able to attend an onsite orientation on a weekday prior to first assignment (typically set for 7:30a-5p), which would include a physical, drug screening, immunization review, administrative paperwork, and EPIC Training
- # of Physicians in Department: 5 Physicians; 3 APPs in credentialing
- Patient Population: Adult 46%, Geriatric 54%, Peds handful a year for lines and tube changes.
- Medicare 44%, Medicaid 18%
- Average # of Cases Per Day: 11 Procedure Lab Cases, 8.0 Para/Thoras, 7-8 CT/US Biopsies
- Support Staff: RNs, Radiology Technologist, APPs
- Procedures Required: (Full IR services including but not limited to):
- Image guided biopsies and drainages
- Dialysis access maintenance and line placement
- Hepatobiliary Interventions
- DVT and PE management and interventions (CDT and Thrombectomy)
- Diagnostic arteriography and arterial interventions including treatment of PAD, hemorrhage (trauma, GI), Oncology
- Drain placement, including chest tubes
- Gastrostomy
- Nephrostomy
- 453 Beds in Facility
- Trauma Level I
- EMR: Epic
- BC/BE in Interventional Radiology- Required
- Active IL License Required
- Availability per request - Required
- References per Stratum Med process Required
- DEA Required
