Locums Columbia, South Carolina, Gastroenterology Opening

Clinical Role:

- Coverage Dates Needed:
- 4/20-5/3
- 5/18-5/31
- 6/15-6/28
- Contract Length: 3 months
- Shift Details: 7a - 5p
- Support staff: OR team and CRNA. APPS may be on shift as well
- Amount of coverage needed per month: Full
- Patients per day: 10
- Patient population/age: Adult
- Department description: Outpatient and Inpatient GI. Preferences: Upper GI w/foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, with injection of varices, with banding of varices; ERCP, ERCP w/PEG; Liver biopsy; Insertion/mgmt of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
- EMR: EPIC
- Hospital bed size: 600
- Special procedures: EUS
- Skills required: Upper and lower GI with biopsy; Diagnostic; Therapeutic; Esophageal dilation/manometry with interpretation; Small bowel biopsy; Lower GI endoscopy; Sigmoidoscopy (Rigid); Colonoscopy w/biopsy, Colonoscopy w/excision of polyp. Advanced Endoscopy a plus
- Practice Setting: Hospital based Ambulatory
- Requirements: Inpatient and Outpatient
- Board Certified Required
- Active SC License - Required
- DEA: Yes
- CSR: Yes
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
- Minimum experience required: 2 years
