A large nonprofit health system in the Western Region is currently seeking a licensed Cardiothoracic Surgeon for 24-hour call coverage.

About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAC
• Schedule: 24 hour call coverage.
• Average patients per shift: 10

Responsibilities:

The Cardiothoracic Surgeon will:

• Provide pre-operative evaluation and post-operative management
• Respond promptly to emergent and urgent surgical cases
• Perform procedures with precision and proficiency.
• Coordinate care with healthcare teams.
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited Medical or Osteopathic School of Medicine
• Residency trained in area of specialty
• Valid license to practice the profession in applicable state
• Board certification/eligibility based on education and specialty
• Valid DEA in applicable state
• BLS and ACLS upon hire
