A hospital in central Florida needs 2 OB/GYNs. They have an OB hospitalist program as well, and it is growing. There are midwives that take 1st call. The incoming physicians will need to live within 30 minutes of the hospital for call coverage. They average 2.4K deliveries per year out of a state-of-the-art L&D unit. There is 24/7 in-house anesthesia coverage, dedicated surgical techs and OB nursing staff, and an obstetrical emergency department. Proficiency in robotic surgery is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will have a desire to work collaboratively with a clinical staff and be an active participant in educational opportunities.
