Houston Nocturnist opportunity.

175 bed hospital in Houston is hiring a Nocturnist for either part or full time with full time being preferred. Cover 20 +/- patients per shift. Schedule is 7 on 7 off. Shifts are 12 hours. Salary, bonus, full benefits, sign on and relo. The hospital is part of a highly regarded system based in Houston. The hospital system utilizes the state of the art equipment, and fully supports each physician with appropriate staff, facilities, marketing, strong referral base, and equipment which creates low turnover of personnel.

 

This hospital is located on the southeast side of town about 20 minutes from downtown. The area is situated along the lakes with great waterfront properties available and plenty of water sports activities to do. The area is a Houston suburb with a relatively affluent population of 141,980. Median Household income is higher than average for the Houston metro. The Johnson Space Center is located in the area creating a large aerospace industry base with over 3000 civil servants and over 12,000 engineers. Biotech is a strong industry sector in the area. Surrounded by lakes and a gateway to the Gulf of Mexico, the area has one of the largest concentrations of marinas and both commercial and recreational boats in the country. It also has one of the largest nature preserves in the country, and part of the Texas Coastal Birding Trail.
