This opportunity seeks a board-certified Hand Surgery/Orthopedic Surgery specialist for an assignment in South Carolina. You’ll join a well-established and experienced team of healthcare professionals while benefitting from a light call schedule and a flexible half-day on Friday. Florence, South Carolina, has an affordable cost of living and easy access to beautiful areas like Charleston and Myrtle Beach.

Credentials & Requirements:

• Board-certified in Hand Surgery/Orthopedic Surgery
• BLS, CSR, and DEA certifications required

Practice Setting:

• The assignment starts on 6/1/24 and is ongoing, with a mix of inpatient and outpatient
• Scheduled hours are 7:40 am - 5 pm Monday through Thursday and a half day on Friday 
• Very light, shared call schedule of 1:9
• Join a dedicated and established team of 7 Orthopedic Surgeons and 9 APPs within a supportive environment

Cases & Procedures:

• Surgical: 5-14 cases per week with an adult-only patient panel
• During clinic days, physicians will exclusively work in the clinic setting
  • On OR days, they will begin by rounding before proceeding to the operating room
