Requirements & Credentials:

• Board-certified in Pathology (Anatomical/Clinical) 
• Licensed in North Carolina 

Schedule Details: 

• Assignment dates: May 1st - 3rd & May 6th - 7th
• Weekday schedule: 7:30 AM - 4 PM 

Practice Setting:

• Join our 154-bed organization providing comprehensive specialty care 
• Outpatient position with an adult-only patient panel 
• Average volume of 15-30 cases per day

Cases & Procedures:

• Perform general surgeries including:
  • Gastrointestinal (GI) biopsies
  • Breast biopsies
  • Colon biopsies
  • Non-gynecological cytology specimens

Location:

• Located near lakes and rivers, Whiteville offers opportunities for boating, fishing, and enjoying nature trails
• The area has a charming downtown area with restored buildings and cultural attractions, such as museums and theaters
