Breast Imager Needed in New Mexico
Established
and growing private practice seeks a 2nd Breast Imager.
The group consists of over a dozen board-certified Radiologists with a wide
range of subspecialty training and includes providers in both diagnostic and
interventional radiology. They service several hospitals, a cancer center
and have an increase in imaging related to Breast Cancer, benign Breast disease
and female pelvic disease. Candidates will have fellowship training in
Women’s/Breast Imaging and be proficient in Breast MRI and digital Breast

with you. The current call model is variable. During the week, the
group covers from 7am – 11pm. Nighthawk covers from 11pm – 7am.
Weekend days are split- either 7am -3pm or 3pm – 11pm. The new recruit
does not have to cover the evening shift during the week (they provide a
stipend for all weekday evening shifts and all weekend shifts for those who
volunteer to cover additional shifts). The “call” shift during the week
is from 6pm – 11pm only (basically is an evening shift with carrying the pager
overnight – only get called about 5 times/year. Receive 300k first year,
10 weeks’ vacation (same as partners), full contributions in a SEP IRA starting
day 1 with max. allowed (57k), excellent BC/BS health plan, full dental
coverage, 10k relocation, malpractice w/tail coverage, CME stipend.
