Permanent Pediatric Critical Care Job Charleston, SC

Pediatric ICU - Block Scheduled - Just outside Charleston

A Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) located 25 miles outside of Charleston SC is seeking a BC Pediatrician with training/experience in Peds Critical Care! Incoming physician will be working at a Level III NICU for a full-time, permanent, and employed position.

• Block Schedule: 7 on/ 7 off
• Two providers split coverage equally in 24 hour shifts
• 6-Bed PICU. All beds have HFNC available with 2 ventilators and one BiPAP available
• Excellent nurses that are cross trained for both general pediatrics and PICU
• Avg. Daily Patient Load/Clinician: 4-6
• Manage patient's admitted to the PICU or general pediatrics and any procedures that are necessary
• Subspecialty Backup: Peds Surgery, GI, ENT, Ortho and limited Ophtho and Urology
• Ideal candidate will be Board Certified in Pediatrics and have critical care experience and training.
