Thoracic Surgery Opportunity Downtown Nashville, Tennessee

Consider joining Nashville?s premier thoracic surgery program in a clinical and surgical leadership role asthe Vice Chairman of Thoracic Surgery. Programmatic leadership will be expected as a part of a multi-campus group. The candidate partner will be ABTS Board Certified, and skilled in minimally invasive VATS and robotic surgery
for both malignant and benign thoracic diseases. This will be a 100% Thoracic Surgery Opportunity. You will joina well-established, busy, and experienced team of three thoracic surgeons.

Thoracic Surgery Program Accomplishments

  • Diagnosed and/or treated 713 Lung Cancer patients in 2018
  • Robust lung cancer screening program with 3000 screenings in 2019

Expectations

  • Board certification in thoracic surgery
  • Minimally invasive experience and robotic skills required
  • Foregut and benign esophageal disease interest preferred
  • Thoracic surgical oncology with a pulmonary focus necessary
  • Experience desired
  • Programmatic leadership expected
  • Interest in surgical resident education expected
  • Outreach Clinic location work expected
  • Shared call coverage with partners
  • Vice Chair of Department with additional leadership opportunities
