A specialty healthcare network on Long Island is currently seeking a licensed PMR / Interventional Pain Physician for a promising opportunity at one of their facilities in Nassau County.

About the Opportunity:

• Specialty: Interventional Pain
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Patient Population: Personal Injury, Workers' Comp, No Fault, Commercial, etc.

Responsibilities:

The PMR / Interventional Pain Physician will be responsible for

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients to understand their medical history, current condition, and functional limitations
• Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals
• Prescribing and overseeing various forms of rehabilitation therapy, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy
• Prescribing medications to manage pain, spasticity, muscle weakness, and other symptoms associated with disabilities or chronic conditions
• Engage in research to advance the field's understanding of rehabilitation techniques, interventional procedures, and outcomes for patients with disabilities or chronic conditions
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice Medicine in New York
• Board Eligible / Certified
