Locums Nashville area Family Practice or Med/Peds Hospitalist Job

  • Residency Trained in Family Practice ORInternal Medicine/Pediatrics required (Adult/Ped hospitalist program - requiresome Ped inpatient experience)
  • Start: May or June 7 - 10 shifts per month
  • On going needs 3-6 months
  • Locums only or locums to permanent
  • Join very established Hospitalist program established 20 yearswith 15+ hospitalists
  • Flexibility on schedule blocks - prefer full time availability
  • 8pm - 8am
  • 6 - 7 admits per night is average - mostly adult
  • Low Peds admit volume ~ 1 per night
  • You are always working with other providers at night either an IM doc (admits) andAPP (who handles cross coverage) or with2 APPs (1 for admits, 1 for cross coverage)
  • Group remotely covers very small area partner hospital but not much volume at all (maybe 1 admit/per night)
  • EMR: CERNER
