Job Description

Locums Minot, North Dakota, Gastroenterology Job (Willing to License)

Clinical Role:

- Start Date: June 2024
- Contract Length: 6 months MINIMUM or locums to perm. Need long-term coverage for continuity.
- Shift Details: 7 on/7 off
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p with 24 hour call on Saturday and Sunday.
- Support staff: nursing, front office, NP
- Amount of coverage needed per month: 14 days per month (inc 2 weekends on call)
- Patients per day: 12-18 scopes per day
- Patient population/age: 18+
- EMR: Cerner
- Hospital bed size: 318 beds
- Level II Trauma
- Special procedures: ERCP required, they do not have EUS currently but can get it for the right candidate.
- Skills required: colonoscopy, esophagogastroduodenoscopy (upper GI), sigmoidoscopy
- Practice Setting: Hospital
- The physician will work in the clinic in the hospital M-F and on-call Saturday and Sunday.
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology
- IMLC Preferred
- DEA: Yes
- Prefer 1-2 years minimum experience but if interested in locums to perm would consider less. Prefer no more than 15 years' experience.
