Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Baxter, MN
$120k-$150k per year (DOE)

We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our practice full time in Baxter, MN. We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who enjoys providing high-quality comprehensive patient care to join our team in the beautiful Brainerd Lakes Area with plenty of shopping and outdoor activities year-round. We are looking for a compassionate, yet driven Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work closely with our orthopedic department, helping patients improve their functioning and mobility and improve their quality of life! Our patient base includes those suffering from back pain and injuries, as well as acute and chronic joint pain and conditions and the incoming PA/NP will be providing orthopedic/musculoskeletal care. We prefer the incoming provider has orthopedic/pain management experience and joint injection/trigger point injection experience is a plus.

Duties:

Patient Consultation-review health and medical histories, exam patients, review pertinent medical records/imaging, and reason for visit
Consult with referring Physicians/Healthcare team regarding diagnosis as needed
Develop and implement treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs
Educate patients on diagnosis, potential treatment options, lifestyle changes, and rehab/modalities
Treatments to include joint and trigger point injections
Documentation/progress notes- accurate and timely records, document treatments rendered in patient charts, and chart patients progress
Collaboration with the orthopedic dept. and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
Communicate effectively with both the staff and patients
Create an excellent experience for patients through a friendly and focused attitude

Requirements:

Graduation from an Accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
PA/NP License in MN
Joint injection and trigger point injection experience is a plus
Minimum 1-2 years clinical experience preferred

Full time

Compensation (range):

$120-$150k per year (DOE)
