A healthcare network in Virginia is currently seeking a new Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Pediatric team at one of their offices in Norfolk. In this role, the Pediatric  LPN will be responsible for a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services to support the medical practice. 

Responsibilities:

The Pediatric LPN will:

• Provide quality patient care
• Participate in formal and informal patient and staff education
• Provide developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical care
• Perform other duties and tasks, as assigned

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of Nursing experience 
• Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing 
• VA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• CPR certification
• Experience doing blood draws and immunizations
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Patient oriented
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
