If you find yourself in Iowa on June 18, you’re warmly invited to participate in PhysEmp’s annual “Give a Dog a Bone” 5K run/walk fundraiser. The race starts at 9 a.m. in Fairfield’s Chautauqua Park, and all proceeds from the event will be donated to Noah’s Ark Animal Shelter. Also, rumor has it there will be a guest appearance from Smokey and Pugly, PhysEmp COO Christina Ring’s Instagram-famous pugs. If you can’t make it and you want to participate “virtually,” you can register for our virtual run and receive a T-shirt for yourself and a medal for your dog. Read more
Did you know that PhysEmp.com started out as a magazine? In 1990, our CEO, Robert Truog, published the very first issue of Physicians Employment—the national employment guide for all specialties. If you’ve been a practicing physician for more than twenty years, you might remember thumbing through the guide to read about the latest physician jobs across the country. How times have changed!
Last year, we launched our new CareerBeat blog so we could share helpful job-search advice for physicians and residents, from job-interview tips, to CV do’s and don’ts, health infographics, and interviews with healthcare thought leaders. We hope you enjoyed CareerBeat’s debut year!
