Absolute Staffers is seeking to hire a Part-time Gastroenterologist Physician to provide services at an Ambulatory Clinic at the Fort Meade Army Base. The GI Physician will perform the full range of gastroenterology subspecialty medical services to include the ability and experience to adequately diagnose and treat acute and chronic disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, liver and biliary system.

Initial evaluation, consultation, and follow-up care of patients with gastroenteroligic problems. Follow and provide consultative medical care for the general problems of gastroenterology patients. The position is accompanied with a full comprehensive benefit package:

Board certified or eligible for certification in Gastroenterology & Nutrition without additional education and training. Possess a valid non-restricted license in the US. Possess at lease 2 years of clinical experience. Familiar with full range of gastro medical services and treatments consisting of minor to chronic disorders. Able to evaluate, consult, and follow-up with patient care. Able to perform esophagogastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, esophageal dilatation , foreign body removal and polypectomy.

Work week is 16-20 hours/wk. Hours will be arranged around schedule with a minimum of 8 hour shifts per week. No nights, weekends, holiday, oncall, or insurance billing. Malpractice is covered 100%.
