Established solo family physician, no OB, in Naperville, IL, seeks part-time associate FP or MD/Peds up to 20 hours/week with hospital coverage. Impending departure of a valued midlevel creates an immediate need for a colleague to help care for a well-educated, culturally diverse patient population in an upper-income area. Most patients are mid-30s to 60s, 15-20% peds, 10% geriatric, several multi-generation families. Newer building shared with two other FPs, lab, procedure rooms, imaging center onsite, excellent non-teaching community hospital with great specialty support a mile away. EMR, online patient portal. 30% managed care. Pleasant work environment with long-term, congenial, well-trained support staff. Weekend call 1:5 with solo docs in area. Probable schedule Tuesday-Friday and alternate Saturdays.

Strong candidate will be personable, intelligent, efficient, effective with multi-problem patients, and will help cover small hospital census (1-3 pts/day average). Spanish or Mandarin language skills, familiarity with EMR and online health applications, and/or procedure skills to boost practice revenue would be pluses.
