In this high-profile role, you will oversee operations and coordinate medical services for a site-specific practice, and act as liaison between medical/clinical staff, correctional site operations, regional & corporate offices, and state correctional and medical leadership entities.
Currently we are offering up to $200,000 annually plus $50,000 sign on bonus for full-time Medical Directors for facilities in Illinois including Big Muddy in Ina, IL, Dwight, IL Hill in Galesburg, IL, Menard, IL, Illinois River in Canton, IL, Lawrence in Sumner, IL, Sheridan, IL and Western at Mt. Sterling, IL.

Key areas of responsibility include participating in the development of medical/clinical policies; acting as case consultant to clinical staff; and representing the organization's clinical philosophy to patients, providers, facility personnel and the community. Success in this role requires in-depth understanding of clinical practice standards and operational aspects of a medical practice to include administration, staff recruitment, clinical program assessment, utilization management, staff education and leadership development.
Qualified candidate must be a graduate of an accredited medical school with current state-specific licensure, and 5+ years' clinical experience to include administration. Master's degree in Medical Management, Business Administration or equivalent receive priority consideration.
