POSITION:
Our client seeks a BC/BE Urologist to join a single-specialty group consisting of three other physicians, in central Wyoming. This highly respected group is the only urology practice in the city, and has served the community for over 27 years. The physicians in this practice are a family-friendly group that enjoys a tight-knit, collegial relationship. This position offers an opportunity for a balanced lifestyle, with 5 weeks of vacation in the first year, plus one week for CME.

  • Cutting edge urology in a small city setting the group is supported by 24-hour interventional radiology, high quality MD anesthesia, and vascular surgeons
  • Young surgeons will benefit from progressive and experienced group members who will assist in challenging cases, including cystectomy and prostectomy
  • Current members will treat you like an equal, not a junior member

    Housed in a beautiful new office facility, the practice embraces technology, offering digital/analog cystoscopy, in-office bladder biopsies, ultrasound, PVP Green Light, ESWL, and electronic medical records.

    Other details of the opportunity:

  • Surgery Volume: 20 to 25 surgeries and 10 in-office procedures per week
  • Clinic Volume: 25 to 40 patients per day
  • Outreach: Physicians travel to outlying communities 2 to 3 days per month
  • Call: 1 in 4, each member is assigned the same day each week for call, plus one weekend per month
  • Payer Mix: 39% Medicare, 6% Medicaid, 14% Blue Cross, 25% Other Commercial, and 11% misc.
