Due to a tremendous need we are looking for a Urologist ASAP. Be part of a group who is in total support of bringing on an additional urologist. Below are some facts and information to help you see the potential of our group and area. We are just two hours from St. Louis. Primary Service Area Population: 18K locale and a draw population of 92,583.
Urology Physician-to-Population Ratio is 1:30, 255. Currently have 1 URO on staff and would like to grow to 3.5.
Special skills, training, experiences Desired: As is appropriate for Urology; laparoscopic surgical skills, percutaneous procedures along with an interest/training in urinary incontinence.
Proposed Call rotation is 1:2 Weekly, Nights, Weekends. HC Surgeons (4 on staff) are also available to provide coverage when necessary.
Average number of patients seen per day: On the two days when our urologist performs surgery, an additional 10 12 patients are seen in the office. On non-surgery days, 20 22 patients are seen in the office.
Average number of hospitalized patients per day: Varies, average 2 -3 per day census. Typical maximum of 7 8.
How far in the future are patients currently scheduled: 3 4 weeks for an office visit. Scheduling surgery 4 6 weeks out.
