Our client in Virginia Beach needs a locum physician starting July 14th, 2008 through October while they recruit for an additional permanent provider. Ideal candidates will be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Urgent Care and comfortable treating acute conditions with rare suturing and splintering. The week of July 14th is being set aside for approximately 3-4 days of training. After that, coverage is needed on a variety of days in July to meet the physician's needs during August and September. You can expect to see 25-28 patients per day or an average of 3.5 an hour.
