LOCUM Medical Group, LLC has a client located around Los Angeles, CA looking for an Urgent Care physician with minor ER experience. The need is immediate and ongoing. The stand alone facility is looking for an Urgent Care physician to join their existing five (5) physician group. In addition, the group has PA's and NP's for assistance. Overall, you will be seeing 60-65 patients per 14 hour shift and/or 4 patients per hour. You will always be accompanied by another physician and PA during your scheduled shift. The Urgent Care facility is capable of minor surgery including splinting, casting, crash carts, etc.....If a patient should arrive needing additional medical care, you will refer the patient to one of three locations in the area. You will transfer the patients, but the Hospitalists will admit. Finally, the Urgent Care facility has a electronic medical records (T-sheets) system which is geared toward diagnosis specific forms which are scanned into a master system for easy access.
