Providence Holy Cross Medical Center is located in Mission Hills in the rapidly growing San Fernando Valley of north LA. It is one of four major hospitals that Providence Health & Services operates in Southern California. Providence Holy Cross has been a fixture of medical excellence in the region for more than 45 years and is in the midst of a massive expansion project that will, among other things, double the capacity of the Emergency Department and add a new patient tower. We also recently opened a secondary campus that offers a broad range of outpatient services.
Mission Hills has a population of about 5,000 and is located about eight miles northwest of Burbank in north Los Angeles County. This area - the northern San Fernando Valley and neighboring Santa Clarita Valley -- is among the fastest-growing in all of Southern California.
