Anchorage, Alaska -- Providence Health & Services, rated among the most integrated health systems in the nation, is partnering with a private practice to bring a Pulmonary/Critical Care Intensivist to serve in breathtaking Anchorage, Alaska. Seeking BE/BC pulmonary/critical care physician to join established group providing critical care/intensivist coverage at Providence Alaska Medical Center, one of the Northwests most advanced hospitals. Work in our technically advanced eICU environment improving statewide outcomes in the only tertiary medical center serving the state. With a heritage of more than 100 years of service in the state, Providence is well respected for its heritage of quality, compassionate health care service. The private practice is a well established and respected group providing critical care intensivist coverage, including on-call emergency coverage on a 24-hour per day 7-day per week basis. Two positions available; excellent compensation.
With 364 beds and a medical staff of 600, Providence Alaska Medical Center is the most comprehensive tertiary facility in the state and the only one with a dedicated Childrens Hospital. Physicians enjoy broad cross-specialty support as well as flexible arrangements to meet individual needs. The campus is blessed with incredible mountain views and frequent wildlife sightings.
