com has a permanent Psychiatrist need at a facility outside of Rochester, New York. It is a 100% adult outpatient position. Hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The doctor must be comfortable treating mentally retarded patients as well as patients with regular psychiatric issues. Notes can be either handwritten or dictated. There are no other doctors at the outpatient clinic, but there are 3 other psychiatrists nearby in the inpatient unit. They may need on call coverage on their IP unit 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month. LocumTenens.com will cover malpractice insurance, which is occurrence, as well as travel and housing costs.
