Bedford County Medical Center, a 104-bed full-service community hospital, seeks a BC/BE orthopedic surgeon for either private practice or employment in this welcoming, family-oriented community nestled in the heart of Tennessee's famed Walking Horse Country. The only full-time orthopedist in town (BC) can't keep up with demand from the growing community and is very supportive of another surgeon coming to town. Call coverage of 1:2 or better. With almost 20,000 in Shelbyville and a service area population of more than 40,000, this is a great opportunity build a general ortho practice and provide sports medicine as well, if interested.

Office space is available on-campus in the hospital's medical office building. The hospital has a well-equipped/staffed OR and is willing to acquire additional equipment/instrumentation as necessary.

The hospital will consider offering either a generous cash collections guarantee or employment with base salary and possible incentive compensation.
