PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT WANTED FOR OCCUPATIONAL MEDICAL CLINIC
This highly regarded healthcare system seeks a Physician Assistant trained in Occupational, Family or Emergency Medicine to join them in their expanding occupational clinic. This position is an employed position with the following benefits:

The occupational clinic is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. five days a week and is located next door to the medical facility. There is no call associated with this position. Patient case types include:
Injury care/management Work physicals Case management Workers compensation Wellness clinic Pulmonary fit testing
The Clinic also provides the area businesses with DOT testing, drug testing, hearing and other testing services, and also offers annual flu shots and other immunizations. There are currently three physical therapists and one aide on staff. There are no other occupational clinics in the area. The growth potential of this clinic is very high.
The medical facility is a 25 bed critical care access and acute-care facility offering Level IV trauma services. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient services, 24-hour Emergency Room services, general surgery, general nursing, laboratory, radiology, physical and occupational therapy, obstetrical and swing-bed services, and general business and medical records services. There are approximately 450 ER visits and about 7 babies born each month. The Emergency Room is staffed with Physician Assistants.
With a population of approximately 7,000 people, this community is beautifully scenic, economically sound, agriculturally based and a paradise for anyone who loves the outdoors. There is an abundance of fishing, hiking, biking and equine trails, birds and wildlife.
