Oregon Occupational Medicine

An occupational medicine clinic in the Portland, OR area seeks coverage ASAP for approximately three months with the possibility of extension. Clinic hours are Monday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. PM and Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is no call or weekend work. The ideal candidate will be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine or Family Practice. You can expect to see approximately 12 to 25 patients on the full days and 7 to 10 on the half days. You will see patients involved in automobile accidents or workman's compensation related injuries. These would be follow-up visits to check patient progress through strains or sprains to the neck or back or from nerve damage. You should also be comfortable with trigger point injections.
