Kodiak, Alaska -- This enchanting community in spectacular southcentral Alaska needs an adventurous BE/BC OB/GYN physician. Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center and local community health center are partnering to bring the right physician to serve the community. Approximately 15 deliveries per month. Share call with an FM/OB; there are also two general surgeons who do C-Sections. Loan repayment. Excellent compensation and benefits package and unparalleled quality of life in Kodiak.

As the only hospital on Kodiak Island, Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center is truly a critical access hospital. The 44-bed facility plays an indispensable role in the lives of the islands 14,000 residents and others in the regions many remote villages. Visiting specialists supplement the hospitals primary and specialty care physicians, allowing us to provide advanced care beyond what would otherwise be possible here.

Kodiak is a busy small city on Kodiak Island famous for fishing, huge Kodiak brown bears and lush forested mountains.
