We are seeking a full-time Medical Director for our Health & Wellness Center located in Las Vegas, NV! This position will serve as a primary medical manager for this site and will collaborate with the Regional Medical Director, Director of Operations and clinical staff at the site to ensure delivery of services and optimal patient care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Manages the overall clinical practice of the site and assumes overall responsibility for the care of patients seen in the health care center
• Supervises the work of all staff physicians and NP or PA's.
• Hands on clinical care to the patients in a primary care setting seeing infants to adults
• Conducts histories and physical examinations and prescribes medical treatment based on current and best practice to provide continuity of care
• Develops treatment plans in collaboration with patients and provides patient education
• Acts as liaison between client, the clinic staff and operational team
• Collaborates with Regional Medical Director, Lead Clinician and clinic staff to develop annual regional and clinic goals and objectives
• Participates in peer review, policy development and quality improvement activities
• Serves as role model for clinic staff. participates in training and staff development
• Supervises performance management and conducts performance appraisals

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited medical school; at least five years of post-residency clinical experience in an ambulatory care, or emergency room setting
• At least three years experience managing an ambulatory care, emergency med, or urgent care clinic
• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Nevada
• Must have current state and federal DEA certification
• Must be Board Certified in Family Practice
• Must have current certification in Basic Life Support; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required. Medical Review Officer (MRO) Certification is a plus!
