A fulltime psychiatrist is needed in a Texas VA. The facility is mostly IP (some OP during weekend call). They need a 3 month minimum commitment (contract goes through May).

The psychiatrist must be PC literate (facility uses electronic notes on AHLTA system), and the position is in the R&R clinic (resilience and restoration).

The doctor will be servicing active duty patients only (no families). They'll deal with PTSD, anxiety, depression, suicide, and med mgmt.

Texas would be a great state to visit for a couple months. Enjoy the famous Tex-Mex cuisine, go see a rodeo, or take in the great night life. There are tons of museums and galleries to visit as well!
