This facility is located in eastern Tennessee and they are seeking locums coverage starting October 1st. The caseload will include 60% adult and 40% geriatric and it is 70% inpatient and 30% outpatient. The inpatient unit has 48 beds and they average 4-5 admissions and discharges per day. The average length of stay is 5 days and the notes are handwritten. In the outpatient clinic there are 2 other psychiatrist and they are allowed 30 minutes for the medical checks and one hour for new evaluations. The notes are handwritten. There is weeknight and weekend call and weekend rounds. The compensation for this assignment is $112.50 per hour, plus housing, transportation and occurrence malpractice.
