This locum tenens adult psychiatry position is available beginning the end of July. The position is 75 per cent inpatient work and 25 percent outpatient work. The locum tenens psychiatrist will be responsible for 3 patients per day on the inpatient unit. In the afternoon the psychiatrist will be see about 12-15 patients on an outpatient basis. There is call 1 out of 3 nights per week and every 3rd weekend. Maine offers a temporary license which takes about 3-4 weeks to obtain.
