New Mexico Pediatrics

The Indian Health Service is in need of a Pediatrician for their hospital in Shiprock, New Mexico. The assignment will begin in January 2010 and will continue until September 30, 2010. Board Certified/ Board Eligible pediatricians will be considered. Patients will be seen in the outpatient clinic as well as on the inpatient ward. As with many IHS job opportunities, a medical license from any U.S. state or territory is all that is required. Your airfare, rental car, lodging and malpractice insurance will be provided. The Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, New Mexico is located in the Four Corners area of the United States where New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado and Utah meet. Recreation opportunities exist such as fishing, hiking, biking, cross country skiing and alpine skiing.
