Pediatric Emergency Physician Needed
Emergency Medical Associates of Florida, LLC is an independent physician owned Emergency medical group. We have had an existing ED contract with the same hospital for over 30 years. Our designated Pediatric Trauma Center is the busiest in Tampa Bay with more than 40,000 patient visits per year.
We offer Competitive Wages - $150 per hour including benefits. The hourly rate is guaranteed for 6 months, then switches to productivity based RVUs. We offer a Fully Funded Pension $29,000/yr after 1 year, 401K plan 50% matching up to $5,000 after 1 year, CME Expense Account $2,000/yr prorated from hire date and Medical Reimbursement Account $2,000/yr after 3 years. In addition we have an excellent healthcare package available one month after hire date.
The position is strictly Pediatric Emergency, no floating between Peds and Adult. We have all specialty backup coverage, 7-10 hour shifts including 1-2 hour overlap, 36 hour physician coverage per day and 20 hour physician assistant coverage per day.
