Wonderful new opportunity in Northeastern, NY for an Internist. Our client is recruiting on a perm basis and they are looking for a locums to help them out until the perm candidate is secured. This assignment will be starting immediatly and will be ongoing. You will only be working Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm doing primarily outpatient work but there will be some inpatient work as well. They would like someone that can participate in the group call rotation wich would be 1:5 and 1:3 for weekends. The would like someone that can manage patients going to the ICU but there is Critical Care physicians who will provide backup and manage vents. You would be joining a group of 3 internists and 3 PA's. Majority of the patients are over the age of 17.
