A facility in North Carolina, not far from Charlotte, needs an Infectious Disease Specialist on a locum tenens basis to provide call coverage one weekend each month. Ideal candidates will be board eligible or certified in Infectious Diseases. You will work 8 a.m. starting on a Friday and finish at 8 a.m. the following Monday. Locum coverage is needed to provide relief of call for the current physicians. Weekend call will include rounding each day and availability for consultation. Rounding each day takes approximately 6 hours and the census is in the low teens.
