An acute care facility located in central Albuquerque, New Mexico is seeking a Hospitalist for several months of ongoing coverage. For this opportunity, you will work within a team atmosphere for either rounding or admission shifts. Rounding shifts are from 8 a.m. 4 p.m., seeing an average of 18 patients, working at least 5 days in a row with a group of 5 other physicians. The admission teams deal mainly with admissions and consults having varying shift times with some being either triple or double covered. While working on either team you will not be expected to see either children or highly intense cases and admit between 10-12 patients per day on average.
