A 150 bed hospital in west central Kansas seeks Hospitalist coverage. The candidate must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice with Hospitalist experience. The client would like the locum tenen physician to cover long weekends, Friday through Monday, in the hospital working twelve hour shifts. The locum tenens physician will be responsible for admits and rounds and the approximate volume is 15 to 18 patients per day. Coverage is needed to start ASAP and last on a month-to-month basis or until a permanent Hospitalist is found.
