Leadership Opportunity for Newborn Screening Follow-Up Clinic

The Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita , in partnership with

Our Health System, a sponsoring community-based teaching hospital,

is currently seeking a Pediatric Geneticist to join its faculty.

Position Highlights:

Outpatient-based clinical practice

The position is responsible for the teaching of students, clinical care, participating in research activities as well as leadership and supervision of personnel in the Newborn Screening Follow-Up Clinic.

Required qualifications include board certification in Pediatrics, board certification or eligibility in Human Genetics, demonstrated proficiency in the teaching of students and residents, and demonstrated proficiency to perform clinical research.

In addition, our facility sponsors 13 residency programs and trains more than 250 resident physicians each year in two private hospital systems as well as a Veterans Affairs facility.
