Ohio Emergency

A hospital in southern Ohio is seeking locum tenens Emergency Medicine coverage beginning July 1, 2009 and continuing ongoing. This is a not-for-profit hospital with 550 beds and is consistently recognized as one of the top 50 hospitals in the United States. This facility is a Level II trauma center with 34 beds and 42,000 annual patient visits. There is double coverage and each physician sees 20-25 patients per shift (high acuity). Fast Track is covered by additional IM/FP trained Nurse staff. Shifts are 12 hours with flexible scheduling for part-time and full-time candidates. Fourteen shifts per month are available. Ideal candidate will be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Board Certified in Internal Medicine with significant Emergency Medicine experience.
