A full-time locum tenens Emergency Medicine position is available starting in November of 2009 and continuing through December of 2009. The not-for-profit hospital must have ABEM/ABOM practitioners. In addition, the hospital is flexible regarding their schedule, but would like someone to commit to at least 14 shifts a month (7 on / 7 off). You'll be seeing 20 patients per 12 hour shift (27K patient annually - single coverage in 32 bed ED) with excellent nurse support. Upon arrival, the patient will be evaluated by a skilled nursing staff (triage) to transfer through their Minor Emergency Care Center (F/T) (8 beds) or be sent through to the Emergency Dept.
