The Indian Health Service is in need of an Emergency Medicine physician for their ER in Shiprock, New Mexico. The assignment will begin in July and will continue for 13 weeks. Board Certified/ Board Eligible Emergency Medicine, Family Practice and Internal Medicine physicians will be considered. A valid medical license is required for the position, although it does not have to be an NM license. As with many IHS job opportunities, a medical license from any U.S. state or territory is all that is required. Your airfare, rental car, lodging and malpractice insurance will be provided. The Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, New Mexico is located in the Four Corners area of the United States where New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado and Utah meet.
