A hospital in southwest Massachusetts is seeking a locum tenens Emergency Medicine physician. Coverage is needed beginning in October of 2009 and continuing ongoing. This federally-designated Critical Access Hospital has 25 beds. There are 12,000 annual visits to the 8-bed Emergency Department. Shifts are 12 hours and the schedule is flexible. Single physician coverage. Major trauma cases are stabilized and transferred to a level I or II trauma center.
