Telemed Support Services
We are searching for physicians specializing in emergency medicine, family practice, general internal medicine, pain management or various specialties to join our expanding practice to provide superior patient care affiliated with our Telemedicine Consultation Program (TCP).
After an initial in office face to face examination by the Dr with the patient, this program is designed to connect patients seeking complementary methods of treatment for consultations by phone to full telemedicine consults with e-health solutions involving e-prescribing for preventative, maintenance, and long-term and/or chronic conditions.
Physicians will have ongoing monthly Telemed consults with the patients referred to the physician by phone to discuss their condition, as well as logging on through a secure online connection to access and review each cases electronic medical records (EMR), medical history documentation, medication request and any other documentation, including physical examination results, as well as the reason for the current consultation.
By logging into a secure physician administration page, the physician will pull up his Telemedicine Case Queue containing new telemedicine cases with medical records, histories and possible refill requests.
Each case will have three possible components:
- EMR Review (Physician review>)
- Teleconsult (Physician consults patient by phone)
- E-prescribing.
- Valid driver license as identification
- Valid state's medical license
- DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) Registration
- Telephone/Fax machine/Online Access
- Computer with email access
- No disciplinary or legal issues
Training:
Consulting physicians are given complete training in all aspects of utilizing the tools within the Telemedicine Consulting Program and soon become very comfortable in working as a telemedicine professional.
