PERIPHERAL VASCULAR SURGERY OPPORTUNITY IN NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA
Practice is limited to Peripheral Vascular Medicine/Surgery. Currently, over 1600 procedures performed annually at single facility in endovascular and surgical procedures. Doing abdominal and thoracic aneurysms with 33% shorter LOS than national comparative group. Doing carotid disease with <1% stroke rate and short LOS.
Well-respected practice was established in 1993 and is committed to the pursuit of excellence in the quality of care of their patients, utilizing the newest techniques and therapies in an interdisciplinary care climate. State-of-the-art percutaneous endovascular techniques as well as new medical therapies for treating claudication.
Currently utilizing a sophisticated vascular surgery database which tracks co-morbidities and clinical presentations, procedures performed, etc. Services include: adbominal and thoracic aneurysms, carotid disease, PV disease and lower extremity Ischemia.
The ideal candidate must be board certified or board eligible as well as have completed a Peripheral Vascular Fellowship and be proficient in endovascular procedures.
